The Toronto Dingos will take on the Toronto Rebels this Saturday in the first week of finals football, with the winner to earn themselves the first spot in the 2025 AFL Ontario Grand Final. This will be the two teams third look at each other this season, and poses to be yet another classic match between the rivals.
The two teams finished the regular season sitting first and second on the ladder, earning themselves a double chance in the AFL Ontario Finals system, with the loser of this match set to play the winner of the Ottawa Swans vs. Toronto Eagles game which is taking place in the nations capital.
The Dingos last hit the field on August 16th, where they played the High Park Demons down at Humber, defeating them by 113-points.
The Rebels faced the the Ottawa Swans in the final round of the year on August 23rd, in what was a game that would define the seedings for the 2025 Finals Series. The Rebels walked away winners and secured the second chance, winning by 26-points
Last time they met... The Toronto Dingos ran away 90-point victors against the reigning premiers, only allowing the Rebels to register one goal for the entire game in the 15.11 (101) to 1.5 (11) victory.
