The Toronto Dingos return to the field after the Transatlantic Cup break and will head up the 401 to take on the Grand River Gargoyles in our final game of the 2024 regular season.
In their previous match the Dingos put in a complete performance from the first bounce to against the visiting Ottawa Swans, running away with a huge 116-point victory.
This Dingos squad will be looking to replicate that performance on the smaller Margaret Greene Park in Guelph and walk away victorious, and with the number one seed sewn up heading into finals.
The Gargs will be coming off an extended break, having not played a game of footy since July 20th when they travelled to Ottawa and faced the Swans in a one sided affair, losing by 65 points. There is no doubt that they will be looking to put in a strong performance on their home deck with that previous result still burning in their minds.
Last time they met... All the way back to round 1 of the 2023 season, the Gargoyles opened the season firing on all cylinders, capturing an early four goal lead. Despite a hard fought contest, the Dingos were unable to bridge the gap from the fast start, ultimately going down by 26 point.
