The Toronto Dingos have run away 90-point victors against the reigning premiers, the Toronto Rebels, to remain undefeated going into in the final rounds of the 2025 regular season.

Both the Toronto weather and the Dingos brought the heat on Saturday afternoon for the top of the table clash, with an undeniable buzz around Humber South as Thomas Baulch (aka Prime Train) donned the Red & Black bringing his trademark enthusiasm and infectious passion for AFL footy to the Canadian competition.

The Dingos and Tom got off to a hot start nailing a couple of early goals, but despite the dominance the Rebels were able to keep the game within 10-points at the first break as some wayward kicking in front of goals saw the Dingos unable to capitalize on the early dominance they brought to the game.

Defender-turned-ruckman Sawyer Jonker took to his new role like a duck to water, providing the Dingos midfield of Rusan, Talbot, Mondin and Barrat first hands to the footy, which allowed smooth transitions into the forward line and resulted in a huge four goal to zero second quarter. This saw the Dingos head into the major break with a 33-point lead.

However, the Dingos weren't done with yet, putting together what very well could have been one of their strongest quarters of the season, with another 6 goals added to the tally whilst the Rebels only managed 3 behinds. Young Canadian Zach Shaw continued his growth this season, nailing his 3rd goal for the game, whilst the Dingos defense remained at their stingy best.

Once again the halfback line of Wooten, Hatchet and Barazza intercepted their opponents advances into the forward line and turned defense into attack, punishing their opposition on the counter with penetrating kicks that allowed the midfield and forward line to get to work.

The Dingos finished out the game as strong as they had started, only allowing the Rebels to register one goal for the entire game and walking away with a 15.11 (101) to 1.5 (11) victory.

Goals: T. Baulch (3), S. Mondin (3), Z. Shaw (3), L. Barrat (2), M. Ladd (2), C. Jepsen, R. Rusan

Best: S. Mondin, H. Moore, Z. Shaw, M. Ladd & R. Rusan
