Dingos Celebrate The 2025 Season At The Annual Club Awards Night

The Toronto Dingos celebrated another amazing AFLO season on Saturday November 8th, holding their annual club awards night at P.J. O'Brien's Irish Pub.
The night kicked off recognizing this year's milestone man, Geoff Hansen, before inducting 25-year clubman Mike Karas as a new life member for the club.

AFLO Team Of The Year Member Matteo Lugarini took home his first Leading Goal Kicker title for the Dingos, kicking a total of 32 goals across the 2025 season, whilst third year Canadian Arman Malekjahani was recognized by the coaches for his dedication to his development the year, awarded the Most Improved Player Award.

Dingos vice-captain, James Talbot, was voted this year's Player's Player by his teammates, being recognized for his on field efforts and leadership game in & game out. Derek Bressette took home his second Jacob Steinberg (Best Clubman) Award, being recognized yet again for the amazing work he has done across the social media accounts, and countless times volunteering on game day.

First year Dingo, Zenon Sirko was awarded the Coach's Award for his commitment not only to improving his skills and learning about AFL, but also his team first attitude and overall effort at training and games, with a specific call out to his post game 5km runs.
Canadian National Volleyball player, Arran Chambers, walked away with the Rookie Of The Year Award after an amazing first season where he put his towering height and vertical leap on show, dominating the ruck contests.

In no surprise to anyone in the room, Daimin Bodnar Medalist Ludo Barratt took home the Canadian/International Craig Stewart (Best & Fairest) Award amassing 53 votes. First year Dingo, Robert Rusan, took home the Australian Craig Stewart Award, edging out another first year Dingo, Harry Moore, by just five votes in a close count.

With the official celebrations of the 2025 season now in the rearview mirror, the Dingos will begin their preparations to go one step further in 2026, with the club Annual General Meeting to take place on December 6th at sponsor bar Gatherings.
