Geoff Hansen will celebrate his 100th game for the Toronto Dingos this Saturday when he suits up against the High Park Demons.

Hansen's journey to the red and black began in an unlikely place – the Global Village hostel in downtown Toronto where he recalls seeing a recruitment poster for the club. Fresh from Australia's SA Amateur League and Mildura football, he was recruited by the Dingos despite having an being pursued by the very team he is facing his milestone day.
The milestone represents remarkable dedication from a true blue-collar footballer. Despite work commitments and injury setbacks that could have likely seen him reach the milestone seasons ago, Hansen never wavered in his commitment to the club.
Geoff's century comes tinged with the heartbreak that defines many great clubmen. He missed out on playing in the 2010 Grand Final against the Central Blues, then endured the agony of losing both the 2023 and 2024 Grand Finals in the last two years
"In all my time playing footy back home and in Canada, I have never played in a winning grand final," Geoff said.
"I came close in my early 20's, but popped my shoulder out 2 games before the big game. It sucked to watch from the side and not be out there, but it was a great accomplishment for our team who went undefeated the 2nd half the season after a very rocky start."
All up I have lost 4 in total, with 3 of them by 8pts or less. This is the year we change that!"
Congratulations on hitting the 100 game milestone Geoffa, all that's left to do is go out there and secure the victory.
