Defender Greg Gilbert played his 50th game for the club in season 2023.
Greggy was familiar with Aussie Rules Football after spending some time in Melbourne, and found the Dingos after running into current captain Mike Bocian (who was a loose acquaintance) at a friend's birthday in 2016. Bocain informed Greggy that there was a league in Ontario, and invited him to join the squad at a winter training session at UCC.
He almost didn't come back after being on the wrong side of a 50m penalty in a scratch match for not returning the ball on free kick, despite not knowing what a mark was at the time. But a preseason trip to Kingston sealed the deal and he has never looked back
A leader on and off the field, Greggy was promoted to Vice Captain in the 2022 and has held many roles on the Dingos Executive Board as well as being a part of the AFL Ontario Competition Committee.
