The Toronto Dingos first flag football team finished had a strong finish to their first season on the turf during the Jam Sports winter season.

Championship Dingos: left to right

Back: Robbo, Greggy, Geoff, CJ, Beda

Front: Mattie, Ciaran, Jay, Eoghan, Derek

After a winless start to the season in their first 5 games (0-2-3), the Dingos adapted to this new form of football to end their season winning 4 out of their final 5 games, culminating in winning their minor championship last night.

"The great thing about being a Dingo is that everyone is friends and we do everything together," Said championship touchdown scorer Derek Bressette. "Playing a sport like flag football is a great way to stay fit and bond with your teammates during the AFLO off-season. Plus it is a lot of fun to turn the tables and actually be able to teach the Aussies something."

The Toronto Dingos are openly recruiting players of all skills and abilities for any on-field and off-field roles at the club for the 2024 AFL Ontario Season. If you're looking to join a club with a strong team culture that is focused as much on the social components as it is on-field success, then the Toronto Dingos might be for you
