The Dingos ran away 12.12 (84) to 1.2 (8) victors against the Ottawa Swans in their second match up of season 2023, making it two from two against last years Grand Finalist.
Despite the slippery and muggy conditions, the Dingos were able to hit the ground running on Saturday afternoon with the two pronged attack of McNaughton & Sinclair firing early. The Dingos were able to reap the benefits of multiple forward 50 entries finishing the quarter with 5.6 (36) whilst the Swans were unable to register a score.
As the rain began to come down in the second, the scoring dried up as clean possession became harder to come by with the wet ball. Midfielders Michael Ladd, Geoff Hansen & Chris Jepson battled hard to get the ball forward with the Dingos unable to capitalize, registering 1.1 in the quarter.
The third term remained tightly contested, before the floodgates opened in the last as the Dingos piled on the goals. Backman turned Forward Michael Karas grabbed two majors whilst wingman Justin Moore & small forward Mattie Hastas registered a goal each as the Dingos ran away 76 point victors.
