A complete performance from the first bounce to the final siren saw the Dingos run away against the visiting Ottawa Swans with a 19.13 (127) to 1.5 (11) victory.
The midfield of Howell, Hogarth, Beks & Buckley started the match in scintillating fashion, getting first hands to the footy and providing some silver service to the Dingos forwards. This allowed the Dingos to have one of their best opening quarter returns of the season, putting on 6 goals, with vice-captain Bradley Wooten switching forward for two early majors in the contest.
The Dingos continued on with this dominant form, reminiscent of the opening 5 rounds of the season, continuing to keep the scoreboard ticking over. On the side of the contest, the Swans were finding it near impossible to break the stingy Dingos defense. Led by captain Mike Bocian, the back six of Bocian, Wooten, Shelton, Gilbert & Gunn made sure nothing came easy for the Swans and held them scoreless for the half.
The Swans managed their only goal for the match early in the third, coming out from the main break with a renewed energy despite the mountain ahead of them on the scoreboard. After a period of attacks from their opposition, the Dingos were able to get back on top of the contest and see out the game in emphatic fashion.
French National player Ludo Barrat capped of an amazing performance in the red and black kicking his fourth and final goal in the last quarter to see the Dingos run away with a 116-point victory.
