Year you started with the dingos: First Year Dingos Rookie 2023

Field Position(s): Center  Half Back

PLAYER QUESTIONS:

How did you hear of the Toronto Dingos?

ne of my old teammates back home (g'day TA if ya readin’) played for the Dingos a few years back. Told me to steer clear but I always do the opposite of what he says

What Club did you play prior to the Dingos?

Played back in Sydney with the mighty UTS Bats #batsordie

How do you find the cross over, what is difficult/easy?

I only have trainings to go off so far, but the boys over here go hard. It's great to see so many Canadians on the team spreading the good word about the game internationally.

What do you like best about the game?

The physicality and the challenge it brings. And trying to explain what Aussie Rules is to Canadians.

What are your favourite things about being a Dingo?

Not being a Rebel. But in all seriousness, as a new bloke in Canada, I can’t speak highly enough about how the Dingos welcomed me to Toronto and made me feel at home. It’s a really positive culture and everyone gets around each other.

What is your favourite thing about Toronto?

For me, it’s a tie between the weather and the TTC. Both are just so consistent and easy to plan around…

So far, who is your favourite Dingo and why?

Gaz of course – there’s a fire in the bloke that makes me wonder who hurt him.

Tell us something that none of us know about you!

I wrote a book a few years back.

What are your goals for this Season?

Win a flag and not re-do my ACL

Favourite Quote, TV Show, Movie, Book or Place to Visit?

“There is no such thing as bad weather, just soft people.” – Bill Bowerman. Seems particularly appropriate over here.
